Implant Maintenance and the Dental Hygienist

Dental Implant Marketing for the Whole Team

Over the last decade, the U.S. dental implant market has been growing between 12 to 15% per year and more and more of the adult population is aware of this therapy. They are asking their general practitioners for implants as an alternative to standard crown and bridge restorations. So after more than 20 years, dental implants are becoming the standard of care and in many cases are replacing conventional crown and bridge procedures. Dental implants are fast becoming the clear choice for restoring the aesthetic functionality of teeth and supporting structures.

This course is designed to increase your implant practice through the "team" approach. Communication and cooperation between all office members encompassing marketing, treatment planning, documentation and most important… the hygienist's role as educator in homecare procedures and clinician in implementing a long term maintenance protocol.

Ann M. Drewenski, RDH, has been practicing clinical hygiene for over 15 years. Currently Ann is Dr. Russell A. Baer's implant hygienist at the Dental Institute of Chicago. Ann assists Dr. Bear in his seminar presentations in relation to implant maintenance and patient education. The knowledge and experience that Ann will share with you in understanding and maintaining implants is invaluable. Ann is also a member of the American Academy of Laser Dentistry and American Dental Hygiene Association.

Carol Kalnow, Dental Implant Institute of Chicago's Administrator, is also a consultant/dental trainer for Dentisoft Technologies. With more than 15 years as a consultant/trainer, her philosophy continues to guide and train practices through maximization of their dental software with an emphasis in coding and insurance (both dental and medical) — creating a more interactive, efficient and communicative team. The results equate to a higher level of awareness for all, including the patients.

We look forward to seeing you at our seminar.
